Director European Personnel Selection Office |
Dear Ms X,
On 31 March 2023, EPSO announced its decision[1] to cancel the selection procedure EPSO/AST/154/22, which is the subject of the above-mentioned own-initiative inquiry I recently launched (OI/1/2023/VS).
In spite of the decision to cancel the selection procedure, I consider it useful to continue my inquiry into the issues raised in the letter I sent you on 15 March 2023. I believe that the inquiry remains a constructive exercise that can help us to define good administrative practices for the future, notably concerning the use of remote testing.
As such, I look forward to receiving your written reply to the issues raised in the above-mentioned letter by the date previously indicated, 15 June 2023. As mentioned previously, my inquiry team will also seek to organise a meeting with EPSO representatives in order to clarify any remaining questions in the context of the inquiry.
Yours sincerely,
Emily O'Reilly
European Ombudsman
