Since 1st November 2015, Ms Michou is Deputy Secretary-General at the European Commission.

She has been Acting Director-General of DG Justice and Consumers for more than one year, dealing with civil justice, criminal justice, fundamental rights, including data protection, free movement, equality, consumer policy and company law.

She had started in DG Justice and Consumers in January 2011 as Director for Civil Justice.

Previously, Ms Michou headed various units in the Directorate-General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology. In the European Commission she has also worked in the Directorates-General for Enterprise and for Internal Market.
