Professional background

Christof-Sebastian Klitz has been Head of the Brussels based Volkswagen EU Group Representation since 2008. Mr. Klitz joined Volkswagen in 1999 and prior to his current position held various positions at the Volkswagen Group’s offices in Berlin and Brussels.

A graduate of University Hamburg’s School of Law, he has a vast amount of Public Affairs experience. He served in various positions at Federation of German Industry (BDI), and as Deputy-Director of the Office of German Industry and Trade in Washington, D.C. He also served as Burson Marsteller’s Head of Government Relations in Bonn and Berlin, and worked for Deutsche Telekom.

Mr. Klitz is Chairman of the Economic Council, Brussels as well as Board Member of the European Movement International.
