Decision in case 1583/2016/PMC on the failure by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) to answer correspondence

1. The complainant wrote to EPSO about its alleged failure to reply to his request for review of the decision to exclude him from further participation in a recruitment competition As the complainant did not receive a reply, he turned to the Ombudsman in October 2016.
2. The Office of the Ombudsman made contact with the relevant service of EPSO in February 2017. That same month, EPSO informed the Ombudsman that it had replied to the complainant in December 2015 and provided the Ombudsman’s services with a copy of its reply.
3. As the matter thus is solved, the Ombudsman closes the case[1].
