Decision in case 1992/2018/PB on the European Personnel Selection Office’s failure to reply to a request for review related to selection procedure EPSO/AST/141/17 (assistants in the building sector)

1. On 6 September 2018, the complainant made a request for review to the European Personnel Selection Office (‘EPSO’) in relation to his unsuccessful participation in a selection procedure for EU civil servants. He received the reply that he would hear from EPSO by mid November 2018. This did not happen, and he therefore turned to the European Ombudsman.

2. The Ombudsman’s inquiry team contacted EPSO, which then replied to the complainant on 30 November 2018.

3. As a reply has now been sent, this complaint is resolved[1] and I have decided to close the case[2].
