The Ombusman speaks at the opening session of the 7th European Citizens' Initiative Day 2018. The conference is taking place at a time when the three institutions – the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Committee of the Regions – will have adopted or nearly finalised their opinions and reports, which will mark the beginning of three-way consultations.
