Dear Mr X.,

On 20 April 2004, you made a complaint to the European Ombudsman on behalf of a Ministry of Health and Consumption. The complaint concerned the letter dated 19 April 2004 in which the Commission informed you that your proposal under the ERA NET scheme would not be evaluated. You sent further documents on 12, 13 and 18 May 2004.

On 16 June 2004, you wrote to inform me that you wished to drop your complaint.

I have therefore closed the file.
