The complainant raised concerns with the European Investment Bank concerning its operations involving Israeli entities involved in activities in the occupied territories, notably those on the UN list of entities deemed to be assisting illegal settlement activities.
The Ombudsman opened an inquiry and sought to meet with EIB representatives to discuss the case, and to inspect documents related to the file.
