The Ombudsman will be speaking at the Legal Affairs committee of the European Parliament on a case concerning a request for public access to the Council about the work of the panel that gives opinions on candidates' suitability to perform the duties of Judge or Advocate-General of the Court of Justice and the General Court before the governments of the Member States make the appointments or re-appointments (case 1011/2015/TN).
