1) Parliament failed to handle the selection procedure in a transparent manner.

2) Parliament wrongly applied the Data Protection Regulation. In particular, it failed to reconcile the needs of data protection with the legitimate interest of candidates to be informed, in an anonymised way, of the marks obtained by the selected candidate on the basis of the different evaluation criteria and his/her professional experience.
