Payment of family allowances
Case 374/2014/DR - Opened on Tuesday | 25 March 2014 - Recommendation on Monday | 18 July 2016 - Decision on Friday | 17 November 2017 - Institution concerned European Investment Bank ( Maladministration found ) - Country Poland
Allegation(s)
The EIB wrongly considered the concept of custody of a child to prevail over the concept of residence of a child and, thus, failed to comply with its own implementing rules and the EC's implementing provisions on family allowances.
Claim(s)
The EIB should contact the PMO of the Commission and at least pay 50% of these allowances directly to the complainant since it has recognised that she has shared custody of the child.
