Decision
Case 191/2001/BB - Opened on Friday | 30 March 2001 - Decision on Friday | 22 June 2001
Dear Sir/Madam,
On 8 February 2001, you lodged a complaint with the European Ombudsman against the European Commission, DG Research, concerning the result of selection COM/R/A/01/1999 and the assessment of your language skills in the third stage of the competition.
I forwarded your complaint to the President of the European Commission on 30 March 2001. The Commission sent me its opinion on 21 May 2001, and I have sent it to you, inviting you to make any comments you consider useful.
On 21 June 2001, you informed the Ombudsman that you had referred the case raised in your complaint, Case T-102/01, to the Court of First Instance.
As the alleged facts are now the subject of judicial proceedings, the Ombudsman ceases to investigate the complaint on 21 June 2001 in accordance with Article 195 of the EC Treaty.
In accordance with Article 2(7) of the Ombudsman's Statute, the results of the Ombudsman's inquiry so far have been closed.
The President of the Commission will be informed of this decision.
Please accept, Sir, the expression of my distinguished consideration.
