Dear Mr X,
You recently submitted a complaint to the European Ombudsman against the European Commission. Your complaint concerned the Commission’s implicit refusal to grant public access to 19 contributions it received in reply to a public consultation on the Digital Services Act Transparency Database in 2023.
The Ombudsman informed the Commission of your complaint and asked to review the documents at issue.
On 18 June 2025, the Commission adopted a confirmatory decision granting wide public access to all documents at issue in your complaint, redacting only personal data[1]. In your complaint, you indicated that you were not seeking disclosure of any personal data.
The Ombudsman invited you to comment on the Commission’s decision but, to date, you have not shared any comments.
Based on the information set out above, the Ombudsman considers that your complaint has been resolved.
In light of this, the case is closed with the conclusion that it has been settled.
Yours sincerely,
