Sťažnosť Európskemu ombudsmanovi môžu posielať občania členských štátov Únie a jednotlivci s trvalým pobytom v členskom štáte. Môžu to urobiť aj podniky, združenia a iné orgány so sídlom v Únii.

Kto sme

Emily O'Reilly sa ujala funkcie európskej ombudsmanky 1. októbra 2013.

Je bývalou národnou ombudsmankou Írska a írskou komisárkou pre informácie (2003 – 2013) a ocenenou politickou redaktorkou, hlásatelkou a autorkou.
