The brochure version of the European Ombudsman's Annual Report for 2002 is now available on his website in 11 languages. The report gives an overview of the Ombudsman's work in 2002 and highlights the results achieved for EU citizens.

This Report was presented to the Committee on Petitions of the European Parliament in March this year by the then Ombudsman, Jacob Söderman. The current Ombudsman, P. Nikiforos Diamandouros, attended the Committee's meeting on 10 June where it adopted its Report on the Ombudsman's work in 2002. The Committee's Report will be debated by the Parliament in one of its plenary sessions in September.
