Sprawa SI/2/2021/AMF - Otwarta Czwartek | 17 czerwca 2021 - Decyzja z Wtorek | 28 września 2021 - Instytucja, której sprawa dotyczy Urząd Publikacji Unii Europejskiej
Dear Mr Carneiro,
I refer to your reply of 29 July 2021 to the points I set out to improve the transparency of the TED portal.
I would like to thank you for your positive reply. I was pleased to learn that the Publications Office shares my views regarding the need for the TED portal to become a “one-stop-shop” for all relevant information concerning EU public procurement, including the relevant links to the lists of contracts above 15 000 EUR awarded by all EU institutions.
I take note of the Publications Office´s commitment to improving access to public procurement information, in particular through user-friendly graphics that you expect to be in a position to generate once the quality of the underlying published data is improved.
I also welcome the foreseen improvements in terms of the search functions and display of procurement information on the future TED and TED eTendering websites. As I mentioned in my letter of 17 June 2021, a list of the “top 10” contractors per EU institution is of particular relevance and should help make explicit which organisations tend to win these contracts.
The purpose of this strategic initiative has been to share our reflections with the Publications Office so as to achieve the important goal of allowing effective monitoring by the wider public of all EU public procurement activities.
With these considerations in mind, this letter and your reply of 29 July 2021 will be published on my website.
Thank you again for your reply and for your cooperation on this initiative, which is hereby closed.
