European Ombudsman Award for Good Administration - Ceremony to take place on 24 June at 10:00 CET

The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Award event page as well as on Twitter and YouTube

The keynote speech will be delivered by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen

In addition to the overall award, there will be awards in four categories: Excellence in citizen-focused services delivery; Excellence in innovation/transformation; Excellence in communications; Excellence in crisis management.

This year, for the first time, there will also be an award based on a public vote.

What we do


The European Ombudsman works to promote good administration at EU level. The Ombudsman investigates complaints about maladministration by EU institutions and bodies, and also proactively looks into broader systemic issues.
