The European Commission failed to take a final decision on a request that it review (a 'confirmatory application') its decision not to grant public access to documents related to the French national plan under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). 

The Ombudsman asked the Commission to take a decision on the confirmatory application without further delay.
