Dear Mr B.,

By e-mail of 15 August 2003 you submitted a complaint against the European Commission. In this complaint, you alleged in substance that the Commission had failed properly to answer a request for information on Croatia’s way towards the EU.

On 18 August 2003, you wrote to inform me that you wished to withdraw your complaint on the grounds that you had been mistaken.

I have therefore closed the file.
