Decision of the European Ombudsman on complaint 675/2003/BB against the European Commission

Dear Ms L.,

On 10 April 2003 you made a complaint on behalf of ED-LAB, Education Laboratory GmbH, to the European Ombudsman against the European Commission concerning the 3rd Call for Innovation Projects (INN/01/02), particularly, the alleged delay in the issuing of the contracts to be signed for the project E-COMPETE.

The European Ombudsman has contacted the responsible service of the Commission concerning your complaint. On 20 June 2003, you informed the Ombudsman that ED-LAB, Education Laboratory GmbH has received the contracts for signature.

The Ombudsman therefore considers that the Commission has taken steps to settle the matter. The Ombudsman has therefore decided to close the case.
