Decision of the European Ombudsman on complaint 233/2000/GG against the European Commission
Decision
Case 233/2000/GG - Opened on Tuesday | 22 February 2000 - Decision on Tuesday | 05 December 2000
Strasbourg, 5 December 2000
Dear Dr M.,
On 14 February 2000 you made a complaint to the European Ombudsman against the European Commission concerning Leonardo Project INTEQUAL (Contract number: D/95/1/217/III.2.a/FPI; Project number: 3892).
In your complaint you claimed that the Commission had failed to provide you with a proper and complete breakdown of the payment it had made to you.
On 29 November 2000, you informed me that the Commission had made an additional payment to you. In a further letter sent via e-mail on 5 December 2000, you informed me that you had received a letter from the Commission that included the final balance calculation with a complete breakdown of costs. You added that you were satisfied with the result and thanked me for my support in achieving the latter.
It appears from your letter that the Commission has taken steps to settle the matter and has thereby satisfied you. I therefore close the case.
Yours sincerely
Jacob SÖDERMAN
