Decision of the European Ombudsman closing complaint 933/2015/EIS against the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA)

Dear Mr Maijoor,

Please find enclosed a copy of my decision letter to the complainant in the above case, in which the complainant alleged that the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) failed to reply to his correspondence.

In the decision letter, I inform the complainant that I contacted the relevant service of ESMA in this regard, and that ESMA replied on 21 and 29 October 2015 respectively.

After a thorough examination of the replies provided by ESMA, and the complainant's observations on those replies, I concluded that ESMA has taken steps to settle the matter. I have thus closed the case.
